Tall ship in the Baltic
NewsStar Clippers‘ Star Flyer to sail the Baltic Sea and Scandinavia in 2012.
From May until August 2012, a Star Clippers ship will spend a season sailing between ports in the Baltic Sea and Scandinavia for the first time ever.
The season will boast 18 cruises of mainly seven, 10 and 11 nights on the 170-passenger tall ship Star Flyer. With billowing white sails and the atmosphere of a private yacht, Star Flyer will visit ports including Hamburg, Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, Warnemuende, Kiel, Stockholm and Oslo.
For those who wish to enhance the old-world style of a Star Clipper cruise, a series of short cruises out of Hamburg and Warnemunde/Rostock will transport passengers back in time as they set sail amidst an annual Sailing Parade of tall ships from all over the world.
Have you ever dreamed of being a seafarer in the age of the great clippers?
