Early next year, cruise fans will have the unique opportunity of seeing all three Cunard Queens together in the same port, and then sailing on one of them.

Cunard’s fleet of three queens – including the brand new Queen Elizabeth which launched  last month – will meet for the first time in New York on January 13, 2011, and Australians can be onboard one of the huge liners to witness the historic spectacle thanks to a new fly/cruise package offered by Cruise Express.

This unique and highly special royal rendezvous will see Queen Elizabeth join her sister ships, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, in New York Harbour on the evening of January 13 before all three sail together south along the US coast.

The new package from Cruise Express includes a flight to New York, one night’s hotel accommodation in the ‘Big Apple’ and a 17-night voyage aboard one of the deluxe Cunard ‘royals’ – Queen Victoria – as she sails with her two sisters out of New York on January 13, 2011, and then on to Los Angeles via the Dutch Antilles, Florida, Costa Rica, the Panama Canal and Huatulco, Acupulco and Manzanillo in Mexico. A night in Los Angles after the cruise and a flight home to Australia from LA are also included in the package which is available from $4999 per person, twin-share.

Designed as a classic liner and launched in 2007, the 2000-passenger Queen  Victoria boasts triple-height public rooms, sweeping staircases, crystal chandeliers, rich décor, a two-storey library, a Cunard museum and private West-End-style  theatre boxes.

Bookings can be made with Cruise Express by calling 1300 766 537, or  visiting www.cruiseexpress.com.au.
