Sea Cloud windjammers annual meet in the Canary Islands
NewsSea Cloud Cruises annual meeting of two windjammer yachts will occur in November this year, with Sea Cloud and Sea Cloud II meeting in the Canary Islands.
The sister-ships will rendezvous on 14 November between Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
To commemorate the occasion, both tall ships will hoist their sails and glide together in an epic display.
Cruisers can enjoy the spectacle from Sea Cloud II, which will be on a 10-night sailing from Cadiz in Spain to Las Palmas.
The cruise will depart on 5 November, and will take in traditional souks and sultan’s palaces in Morocco, and the volcanic islands of the Canaries.
Ports of call include Casablanca and Agadir in Morocco; and Arrecife, Lanzarote, and Santa Cruz, Tenerife.
Fares for the cruise start from EUR4,185 [AU$$6,133] per person.
