Scenic Eclipse heads to Chile and Patagonia’s remote fjords next year

Scenic Eclipse will head to Chile and explore Patagonia’s remote fjords next year offering guests an amazing adventure to one of the last, great wildernesses on Earth.

The under-explored Chilean Fjords of Patagonia offer a landscape of sheer cliffs, hanging glaciers and narrow channels including Puerto Eden and English Narrows which are best reached by Scenic Eclipse, a ship specially designed with Polar technology to navigate these narrow waterways. Guests will also have access to helicopter flights, submersible dives and 20 specialist guides.

They will also visit the remote charming island of Chiloe where brightly painted houses are constructed above water and World Heritage-listed wooden churches tell the remarkable story of the island’s unique maritime culture.

The waters of Chile also abound with extraordinary wildlife including humpback and blue whales, Magellanic and Humboldt penguins, sea lions and soaring Andean condors.
