New river cruise line for Aussie travellers
NewsA new river cruise line has entered the Australian market, increasing competition in the growing sector.
A-ROSA Cruises has partnered with Australia-based Inspired Luxury and US-based David Morris International (DMI) to offer its European cruises to Aussie travellers.
A-ROSA was established in 2002 and cruises throughout Europe on the Rhône/Saône, Rhine/Mosel/Main and Danube rivers.
DMI was recruited last year to tailor operations and onboard experiences on three of the line’s ten vessels for English speaking cruisers from the US, UK and Australia.
Distinguishing itself from competitors such as Scenic Tours and Viking River Cruises, A-ROSA offers active travel options such as hiking and kayaking as well as the opportunity to delve deeper into music, history and art.
Additionally, A-ROSA dubs itself one off the most inclusive river boat experiences in Europe, with prices covering complimentary alcoholic and non-alcohol beverage onboard, open dining, a selection of shore excursions and ground transfers and taxes.
DMI president David Morris said: “The Australian market is seeking an all-inclusive concept and A-ROSA will cater directly to their preferences.”
