Regatta sails out of drydock, completes Oceania Cruises fleet wide makeover
NewsRegatta has sailed out of dry-dock this week, marking the completion of Oceania Cruises’ $50 million fleet wide upgrade.
The line’s three ships were renovated from bow to sterns over six weeks, with Nautica and Insignia reentering service last month.
Among the changes to 684-passenger Regatta include the addition of the Baristas – a new coffee bar; and a cook-to-order grill at Terrace CafĂ© serving steaks, chops and lobster tail.
There’s also a new outdoor Sports Deck with golf putting greens, shuffleboard courts and a main pool area.
Owner’s and Vista Suites received new bathroom designs and the Penthouse Suites were fitted with new furnishing.
All the ship’s main lounges were also refurbished with new furniture.
President Kunal S. Kamlani said renovations ensured guests received the same upscale cruise experience on all three ships.
“Based on early guest feedback this $50 million refurbishment is a home run,” he said.
