Quest ahead of schedule
NewsSeabourn Quest is now offering two pre-inaugural sailings next year.
Construction on The Yachts of Seabourn’s third new ship in as many years, Seabourn Quest, is a month ahead of schedule for delivery in May 2011, leading the cruise line to announce she will sail two pre-inaugural cruises before her maiden voyage in June 2011.
While her official naming ceremony and maiden voyage is not until June 20, Seabourn Quest will depart Monte Carlo for a three-day roundtrip cruise to Livorno in Italy and Bonifacio in France on June 9. She’ll also sail an eight-day cruise on June 12, from Monte Carlo to Italy, France and Spain, in time for the christening in Barcelona.
Although passengers booked on her 14-day ‘maiden voyage’ to Athens won’t be the first to sail on Seabourn Quest, they can console themselves with the fact they’ll be on board for her sure-to-be spectacular christening ceremony.
Who knows, they may even become godparents like the first passengers on sister ship Seabourn Odyssey!
Who do you think will be the godmother to Seabourn Quest?
