Actress and godmother to Quantum of the Seas, Kristin Chenoweth, has signed on to play a larger role as the ship’s ‘Experience Advisor for Entertainment’.

Chenoweth joins a lineup of Quantum Experience Advisors who have the responsibility of using their expertise to improve amenities and activities onboard the 4,180-passenger vessel.

Other advisors include athlete Dhani Jones and award-winning chef Michael Schwartz.

As advisor, Chenoweth will participate in an executive review committee, review concepts for all the shows, productions and themed events and give feedback on every aspect from costumes, music and casting.

Executive vice president of operations, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said Chenoweth has been the line’s most involved godmother.

“We are privileged to have a world renowned performer such as her, sharing insights and feedback on the entertainment that we are so passionate about.

Although new to the role, Chenoweth said she’s been ‘blown away’ by what she’s seen so far.

“[I] am just so impressed, and that’s not easy to do,” she said.

“This is the real deal, and audiences have a lot to look forward to.”

The lineup of entertainment offerings will be revealed later this week.

Quantum of the Seas is scheduled to launch in November this year.

As godmother, Chenoweth will also have the responsibility of blessing Quantum and breaking a bottle of champagne on the ship’s hull during its inauguration.
