Princess Cruises is sending seven of its ships to Alaska next year, to meet growing demand from cruisers.

As part of its 2015 Alaskan itineraries, the line will offer 125 departures calling at 14 ports. The seven ships will carry 15,489 passengers per sailing.

For the first time, Ruby Princess will sail from Seattle with sister ship Crown Princess.

Pacific Princess will join Grand Princess, Star Princess and Coral Princess on

Voyage of the Glaciers itineraries, which include two glacier experiences.

Meanwhile, Golden Princess will take over Inside Passage sailings from San Francisco.

The new program will also include 24-land tour options that combine with a Voyage of the Glaciers cruise.

“Our cruise program in this destination combines some of the most spectacular scenery in the world with exciting on-shore adventures plus amenity-filled ships for an unforgettable cruise holiday,” president Jan Swartz said.

Prices for the seven-night Voyage of the Glaciers cruise start from $919 per person twin share.
