P&O launches new iPad App
NewsWatch videos, wander the ships and check out upcoming cruises all from your iPad.
P&O Cruises is expanding its social media presence from Facebook and Twitter in coming weeks, launching its first iPad App in a bid to bring the cruise experience to life for both curious cruise passengers and travel agents selling cruises.
At the touch of a screen, users will be able to access the latest P&O Cruises brochure, videos from the ship depicting daily life on board, interactive deck plans offering 360-degree views of the ships’ restaurants venues and other features, shore tour information and a guide on how to book.
The App, which will soon be available on iTunes, also shows cabin layouts, so passengers can see where a cabin is situated on board and its interior amenities.
“With our brochures now available on the iPad, current passengers or potential cruisers can easily access a range of information and experiences that will help them decide on their next holiday at sea,” said Jenney Lourey, vice president Carnival Australia, which operates P&O Cruises.
Keep an eye out for news of the upcoming launch.
