Who will headline P&O’s big party? It’s the great guessing game…
NewsTickets to the biggest party in Australian cruise are being offered, including the arrival in Sydney Harbour of five P&O ships, a fantastic fireworks display – and a concert featuring an Australian headline act.
The party on November 25th will dramatically launch P&O’s new ships, complete with major refits.
But the great guessing game is: who will be the headline act?
P&O said they could not confirm any star names. But it is believed negotiations are continuing and the line is hoping to tease with a jaw-dropping surprise star.
A number of singers have been the centre of speculation, among them a famous female and Australian Idol winner and Eurovision finalist Guy Sebastian.
Yesterday, flyers from Cruises.com.au maintained: “This November, a once-in-a-lifetime milestone will take place inside Sydney Harbour as all five ships of the P&O fleet – Pacific Jewel, Pearl, Dawn, Aria and Eden – weigh anchor for a series of spectacular celebrations.”
They offered clients the chance to “hop aboard the Pacific Pearl for a three-night cruise and you’ll find yourself rounding the heads as part of the fleet, with front-row seats to all the action including celebration fireworks, onboard theme parties, an exclusive concert featuring a headline Australian act and much more.”
“This is your chance to sail into the history books!”
Those not on the ships will still have an opportunity to be part of the celebrations – the best spot to view the fireworks will be at Point Piper.
