Paul Gauguin Enhanced
NewsPaul Gauguin Cruises’ luxury cruise ship Paul Gauguin, which operates in the South Pacific, is about to become even more sumptuous. The cruise line has just announced that the ship will be undergoing extensive renovations to the tune of $7 million – the largest renovations in the ship’s 14-year history.
Extensive improvements will be made to both the interiors and exteriors of the ship: furniture will be refinished with new fabrics, new flooring and carpets will be laid throughout, new teak railings will be introduced to balconies, decorative wall panels will be installed, windows will be re-treated and public spaces such as La Veranda, Le Grill, Le Casino, La Palette and Le Grand Salon, will be either redesigned, refurbished or updated.
The renovations, beginning in January, will take place during the ship’s 10-night crossing from Tahiti to Brisbane and an 11-night dry dock in Brisbane.
