Norwegian debuts more overnight stays and late departures in popular cities in 2028

• This will allow guests to immerse themselves in their favourite cities including Sydney, Barcelona, London and Rome.
• Norwegian Cruise Line will depart from 25 homeports and visit 150 destinations across 51 countries in 2028.
• Guests will also be able to experience NCL’s private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

Norwegian Cruise Line will offer travellers more overnight stays and late departures in popular cities across Europe, Australia, South Pacific and Alaska in 2028.

From sun-soaked Mediterranean and South Pacific to Alaska’s glaciers and Caribbean’s turquoise waters, NCL  2028 season will feature three to 14-day voyages departing from 25 homeports including Miami, Seattle, Rome and London visiting 150 destinations across 51 countries.

Itineraries have been designed to allow travellers to spend 80 per cent of each sailing in port with 175 overnight stays and late departures in 53 destinations including popular cities such as Santorini, Florence and Juneau.

Highlights of NCL 2028 sailings

Norwegian Jewel debuts in Morocco

Norwegian Jewel will offer a diverse European season including a 12-day roundtrip from Barcelona when the ship debuts in Morocco and then visits Casablanca, Agadir, Arrecife and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Norwegian Jewel will also offer an 11-day repositioning cruise from Barcelona to London in May 2028  and a nine-day roundtrip from London in September 2028. She will also have a variety of  various sailings  from London to Copenhagen, Denmark and Helsinki.

Chase the Midnight Sun aboard Norwegian Getaway

Norwegian Getaway will sail a 10 and 11-day Northern Europe itineraries between London and Reykjavik during the height of the midnight sun season giving guests more time to explore ashore with the extended daylight. Later in the season, Norwegian Getaway will sail three Baltic Sea voyages with a maiden call at Klaipeda in Lithunia.

Experience Europe with fewer sea days and more time ashore

Norwegian Viva will embark on various voyages in the Mediterranean, Greek Isles and Britain with overnight stays in Istanbul and late departures in Santorini, Mykonos and Livorno. Norwegian Pearl will sail the Greek Isles between Venice and Athens while Norwegian Epic will sail roundtrips from Rome and Norwegian Estar will sail the british Isles and Northern Europe.

Fiji, French Polynesia and Hawaii

Norwegian Spirit will homeport in Sydney and offer immersive voyages across the Pacific, calling at Lautoka, Papeete and Honolulu from April to October 2028.

Norwegian Spirit will sail 11 and 13-day itineraries to visit New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Samoa, the Cook Islands and Hawaii.

Discover Alaska

Three ships, Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy will spend April to October sailing in Alaska while Norwegian Jade will have a seven-day voyages from Vancouver and Whittier with scenic cruising through Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier with iconic inland experiences at Denali National Park and the historic Alaska Railroad.

Make a Splash at Great Stirrup Cay

NCL’s private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas will play host to more  thrill-seeking guests looking to experience 19 waterslides in the Great Tides Waterpark while adults can chill out at the Vibe Shore Club. Norwegian Aqua will spend her first full summer offering three- and four-day roundtrip Bahamas cruises from Miami.

Explore the Caribbean

Norwegian Aura, one of the line’s newest ship, will offer seven-day roundtrip Eastern Caribbean voyages from Miami to Puerto Plata, St Thomas, British Virgin Islands and Great Stirrup Cay.

Set sail to Bermuda from New York, Boston and Philadelphia

Norwegian Gem will offer a season of seven-day Bermuda sailings while Norwegian Luna will sail five and seven-day voyages from New York City and Boston.
