P&O has revealed that its next generation of ships will have more feature than ever before on ships like Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden.

The two ships will join P&O Cruises in six months and will include luxe new bars, a plush private dining room and some of the most spacious rooms across the entire fleet.

The Blue Room, which will be a new addition to both ships, is an opulent and intimate space with rich velvet and chrome furnishing which is styled around the New Orleans “speakeasy” feel.

The bands will play everything from funk to Blues and Jazz to RnB and will be the live music hub.

The new penthouse suites will redefine luxury on Australian cruise ships which offer large spa baths, walk-in wardrobes and floor-to-ceiling glass windows which open to private balconies.

The new-look Lido pool has been refurbished to make guests feel like they are in a resort while the new retractable roof means the pool will be available both day and night.

The new Ocean Bar is a more casual relaxation area with comfy chaise lounges.

Both ships will still offer a private dining room with the Chef’s Table as well as Salt Grill by Luke Mangan which has been revamped in lush interiors.

Some of his signature dishes include Luke’s Crab Omelette with Miso Broth as well as his Liquorice Parfait.

The ships’ new Pantry food market will also be part of the new features onboard.

Pacific Area and Pacific Eden will emerge from dry dock in Singapore in November and will arrive during a five-ship spectacular on Sydney Harbour on November 25.
