MSC changes itineraries for passenger safetyPeter Lynch·10 Jul 2015News·0 Comments·0 MSC Cruises is suspending calls to Tunisia until April, at the very least. The move comes in response to the country’s ‘state of emergency’ declaration on July 3, eight days after a gunman killed 38 foreign tourists at a beach resort. The Europe-based line says MSC Preziosa – which has the capacity to carry 3502 passengers – will no longer visit La Goulette, Tunisia, from November 15. Instead, it will stop at Valletta, Malta. Other passengers who will be affected are those travelling on MSC Magnifica and MSC Poesia in November and December this year. Those ships will instead stop at Alicante, Spain.
