The Moorings’ customers will be able to charter yachts from three new Mediterranean locations next year; Kremik, Croatia; Fethiye, Turkey; and Vounaki, Greece.

The additional bases were introduced as part of the company’s complete rebrand to attract new customers.

The Kremik base will give travellers access to the Adriatic Coast in Croatia to reach nearby islands and coastal villages. Fethiye customers will be close to historic Byzantine sites, winding bazaars, and prime sailing conditions. Vounaki was added due to its popular smooth cruise passages and seaside towns.

In 2014, The Moorings will also welcome a new yacht, 514 Powercat. She will be used on holidays in the British Virgin Islands and will feature four-cabins, a spacious interior and a large forward cockpit.

The rebranding will also include a new logo designed to reflect the company’s 44-year history and a new website.

The company’s head of global marketing, Shannan Brennnan said: “We want to build upon our heritage while continuing to make sure our customers are at the center of everything we do.”
