Cruise passengers will soon be able to count Crystal Cruises among the luxury lines turning to all-inclusive fares, beginning with the line’s first transatlantic crossings in 2012 aboard its ships Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.

Crystal Cruises fares will now include open bar service in all lounges, complimentary wines and premium spirits throughout the ship, all non-alcoholic beverages, gratuities and dining in all specialty restaurants.

Also included in the new fare policy are roundtrip economy airfares or air credit from some US airports, fitness classes, golf lessons, port shuttle services, enrichment lectures, children’s programs and self-service launderettes.

“Our ‘All Inclusive’ is an evolution of Crystal’s luxury services and responds to the desires of today’s upscale cruise traveler. As many lines throughout our industry have itemized their services for additional charges, Crystal is maximizing the guest experience by eliminating additional transactions – further enhancing the ease and luxury of a Crystal cruise,” said Gregg Michel, Crystal Cruises president.

And don’t think this means the line’s fares will skyrocket. A Crystal Cruises spokesperson claimed fares may even be lower in 2012, Cruise Critic reports.

“We’re introducing this with the launch of 2nd-4th quarter fares and we’ve priced the cruises very aggressively,” Mimi Weisband was quoted as saying.
