Larger suites, fewer guests for a more luxurious onboard experience for three Explorer-class ships in Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ fleet

• RSSC will remove 29 suites in Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Grandeur when they are refurbished in the next two years.
• Each ship will have 344 suites, down from 373 so that guests can enjoy a more spacious and luxurious experience onboard.
• Seven Seas Splendor will be the first to be overhauled when it enters dry dock in 2027 followed by Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Grandeur in 2028.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will introduce larger suites and fewer guests when three Explorer-class ships undergo major refurbishment in 2027/28.

The ultra-luxury line will reduce the number of suites by 29 from 373 suites down to 344 so that guests will enjoy a more spacious and luxurious experience onboard Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Grandeur.

All three ships have been scheduled to be refurbished when they enter dry dock in 2027 and 2028. Regent said the overhaul of the three ships will see its expanded Veranda suites to be the largest entry-level suites in the luxury cruise industry.

“By reducing the suite inventory, expanding accommodations and introducing new suite categories, we are creating an even more spacious experience at sea while strengthening the exceptional service that defines Regent,” said Wesley D’Silva, President of RSSC.

Regent will also include the new Horizon Penthouse suites which will first debut on the new Seven Seas Prestige, to the Explorer class of ships. They will range from 57 to 67 sqm with oversized balconies that blend outdoor luxury with indoor comfort.

With a spacious living area, the Horizon Penthouse Suite will become a luxurious retreat for guests after a day’s adventure on land.

In addition, the line will add three distinctive e suites ranging from 76 to 85sqm named Explorer Suite, Splendor Suite and Grandeur Suite which will have high-end amenities such as cashmere blankets, an in-suite caviar service, a pillow selection and a personal butler. The suites will have a spacious bedroom; expansive sitting and dining area; a one-and-a-half marble bathroom and a large private balcony.

Seven Seas Splendor will enter dry dock in November next year followed by Seven Seas Explorer in April 2028 and Seven Seas Grandeur in October.
