Pacific Sun has been renamed Henna by new owners HNA Tourism who plan to have her service their home market of China when she relaunches in 2013.

Cruise Industry News reports that the ship will undergo a refurbishment at the Sembawang shipyard, Singapore prior to being home ported out of either Sanya or Tianjin.

Reports out of the Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific conference this week also indicate that Star Cruises may be involved in the relaunch with the cruise line believed to have signed on to manage the vessel for HNA Tourism.
