Globus sails to the Mediterranean
NewsGlobus has announced it has added the Mediterranean to its tours next year, with new yacht expeditions to Greece and Italy.
Available in the 2014 Globe Europe brochure, the company introduced the 15-day Classical Greece with Continental Odyssey Cruise. This includes visits to ancient landmarks in Athens and mainland Greece and sea explorations to Mykonos, Santorini and Crete.
An alternative option is the new 15-day Classical Greece with Adriatic Odyssey Cruise. This will take guests to mainland Greece and Corfu before sailing to Albania, Montenegro and Croatia.
Italian stops will be available on Globus’ 16-day Italian Tapestry, which visits the great cities of Italy as well as Salerno, Capri, Sicily and Malta.
Globus marketing manager Australasia Christian Schweitzer said all signs indicate that the Australian market to Europe will remain strong in 2014 after a 17 percent growth experiencing during the current season.
He said: “We plan to capture that demand by offering excellent quality with competitive pricing throughout the season, not just during sale periods.”
Next year Globus said it would continue to offer pre-paid optional excursions, allowing travellers to tailor their holiday and pay before departure.
