APT has given cruisers a glimpse of what they can expect onboard its new Myanmar river ship with artist impressions of the ship’s interior.

The cruise operator revealed it was building RV Samatha in August this year to launch early 2016.

The second image is of the main restaurant, which includes local design. The restaurant will host APT’s Asia Ambassador, Luke Nguyen, dishes.

Also available onboard will be a swimming pool, an observation deck, a spa facility, complimentary wi-fi, a main lounge, bar and a second restaurant.

RV Samatha will be used on 18-day itineraries along the Irrawaddy with visits to Mandalay, the Mahamuni Buddha Temple, Inwa, Yanbado, Bogyoke and Yangon.

The cruise is priced from $9,395 per person twin share.

Passengers who booked by 31 March 2015 will receive free return flights to Myanmar including taxes. Offer is subject to availability and terms and conditions apply.
