South Sea Cruises has announced two additions to their Mamanuca Island resort services. The new late afternoon departures enable you to travel to island resorts the same day you land.

With the new 5:30pm departure from Port Denarau to central Mamanuca Island Resorts, you can now choose to travel direct to your island resort on the same day.

South Sea Cruises has responded to the increasing number of flights arriving into Nadi later in the day and the desire of many visitors to travel directly to their Island Resort on the same day. The new service also allows guests departing on late night flights to remain at their Resort for the day if they wish.

Kit Nixon CEO of SSC said “the introduction of this new service has been very well received by the Managers of the resorts. We have put a number of new safety measures, such as additional lighted markers and floodlights on the vessels to enable safe operation in those months where arrival is after dark.”

The new service commences on November 1st. Guests or Agents who already have bookings on the 3:15pm departure or wishing to alter their existing bookings to take advantage of this later departure may do so at no extra charge.
