Crystal Cruises has unveiled its 2016 and early 2017 itineraries, which include visits to 27 new destinations in the Pacific, South America and the Mediterranean.
Among the new destinations will be Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, which completed renovations last year to cater for larger vessels.
Crystal Symphony will visit the destination on a 10-night cruise from Papeete, Tahiti departing 9 December 2016.
Other firsts include Easo, New Caledonia; Mystery Island, Vanuatu; Arendal, Norway; Bandol, France; Catalina Island, California; Corinto, Nicaragua; Crotone, Italy; Fukuoaka, Japan; Isla Margarita, Venezuela; and Kavala, Greece.
Meanwhile, the line will return to Alaska after a five-year absence.
Crystal will sail seven and 10-day itineraries, including the Alaskan Inspirations cruise departing Vancouver on 19 June 2016 to visit Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Anchorage/Whittier.
The line will also return to New Orleans after a decade-long absence. Crystal will make three voyages to the destination, including a 14-day trip from Fort Lauderdale to New Orleans; a New Orleans to Miami cruise; and one round-trip departing 22 November 2016 aboard Crystal Serenity.
In 2016, Crystal will also make a record number of double overnight stays [two nights in a row], with 14 occurring throughout the year in destinations such as San Diego, Amsterdam, New Orleans, Stockholm, St Petersburg, Istanbul, Venice, London, Lisbon, Barcelona, Sydney and Melbourne.
The 2016 and early 2017 cruises are now available for booking.
