Passengers sailing in the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, United Arab Emirates, Indian Ocean, Far East, Caribbean, South America and Red Sea will be united by taste this Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Costa Cruises has orchestrated a one-off partnership between two Michelin-star chef Carlo Cracco and Benedetta Parodi, one of Italy’s most popular celebrity chefs, to produce two exclusive menus for Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinners across its fleet.

According to the cruise line, the festive menus will combine Cracco’s creative flair with Parodi’s wholesome, practical approach to cooking. The classic Italian dish cotechino, for example, a fresh pork sausage served with stewed lentils, will be reinterpreted for the new menu and served with a truffle fondue, while Christmas dishes such as guinea fowl and panettone will also feature.

A selection of fine wines produced by Aneri will also be available with recommendations to best match it to the food on the table.
