Celebrity takes their ships on a world tour
NewsCelebrity Cruises will take their vessels to all seven continents with ‘Celebrity’s World Tour 2014-15’.
The itineraries on offer will be unveiled over the next four weeks with the line promising more ports of call and more overnight stays.
Exclusive land-based adventures dubbed “Celebrity Exclusives”, will also be launched as part of the initiative and will feature personalised experiences for individuals or groups of less than 15 including a VIP hospitality package at the 2014 British Open Golf Tournament and sailing around Mykonos on a private yacht.
Celebrity Silhouette’s African itinerary will depart on a 14-night roundtrip out of Civitavecchia, Italy and will include an overnight stay in Alexandria, Egypt; an overnight stay in Jerusalem, Israel; and visits to Haifa, Israel; Ephesus, Turkey; Athens, Greece; Catania, Sicily, Italy; and Naples/Capri, Italy.
Antarctica will be explored for 14-nights aboard Celebrity Infinity out of Buenos Aires and will sail to Ushuaia and Puerto Madryn, Argentina; Cape Horn, Chile; Schollart Channel, Dalhan Bay, Paradise Bay, Gerlache Strait and Elephant Island, Antarctica; Port Stanley, Falkland Islands and Montevideo, Uruguay.
She will also sail on a 14-night South American voyage commencing with an overnight stay in Buenos Aires and calls into Montevideo and Punta Del Este, Uruguay; Puerto Madryn and Ushuaia, Argentina; Cape Horn, Punta Arenas and Puerto Montt, Chile; and sailing through the Straits of Magellan and the Chilean Fjords and ending in Valparaiso, Chile.
Celebrity Millennium will depart on 14-night itineraries out of Singapore and will feature overnight stays in Singapore; Bangkok (Laemchabang); Hanoi (Halong Bay), Vietnam; and Hong Kong.
Australia will see the return of Celebrity Solstice when she embarks on 12-night itineraries beginning with an overnight stay in Sydney and sailing to Melbourne, Australia; Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, Dusky Sound, Dunedin, Akaroa, Wellington, Tauranga and Aculand, New Zealand.
She will then head to Alaska on seven-night voyages sailing roundtrip from Seattle, Washington, visiting Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, the Inside Passage of Alaska and Victoria, British Columbia.
