Celebrity Eclipse to receive new bar in renovations
NewsCelebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Eclipse will undergo major renovations in April to receive upgrades introduced on Celebrity Equinox earlier this year.
During the month-long refit, Eclipse will receive a number of new features and a revamped pool area, according to Travel Weekly UK.
The Cellar Masters wine bar will be turned into the Gastrobar – a food and drink venue serving over 40 craft beers.
Debuting on Celebrity Equinox in May, the venue has varied collections of wines and cocktails and a menu of upscale dishes.
The bar uses the latest technology, to allow guests to place orders on an iPad.
Other changes on board include a new frozen drink bar called ‘Slush’ in the pool area.
The bar will serve fresh frozen alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails using raspberries, cucumbers, Persian lime, Florida Valencia, Hamlin orange juice and lemon juice.
Catering to the UK market, the casino will receive 12 new British-themed slot machines and the roulette wheels will be replaced with European-style wheels.
The line will also expand its retail offering with a private photo studio where guests can take high-end images on their vacation.
