Celebrity Cruises unveils major expansion of voyages to Australia, Asia, Alaska and Europe in 2028/29

• Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice will return to Australia offering 23 journeys to New Zealand and South Pacific.
• Four Edge series ships – Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Apex – will sail in Europe.
• Three ships – Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Equinox – will head to the wilds of Alaska.

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled a major expansion of its voyages across Australia, Asia, Alaska and Europe in 2028/29.

The line will deploy two ships, Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice to sail in Australia and New Zealand, offering 23 itineraries departing from Sydney and Auckland. Guests will be able to choose from four-night escapes to 14-night sailings visiting New Zealand’s majestic fjords and South Pacific dazzling destinations including Lifou, Loyalty Islands, Mystery Island and Vanuatu.

For the first time, the line will deploy four Edge series ships to sail in Europe. They include Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Apex which will offer the most extensive Northern Europe sailings.

Celebrity Beyond will offer unforgettable adventures to the Icelandic destinations of Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri and Seydisfjordur before heading to Norway’s amazing fjords in Geiranger, Alesund, Flam and Bergen.

Celebrity Apex will offer a 12-night sailing to Scandinavia visiting Oslo, Norway, Skagen, Denmark, Stockholm, Tallinn, Estonia, Helsinki and Copenhagen.

Celebrity Apex will also offer a 12-night British Isles journey visiting Scotland, Ireland and England.

Three ships including Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Eclipse will offer a range of seven to 11-night itineraries to Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.

Celebrity Infinity will continue to offer year-round sailings in Europe.

For adventure-seeking guests looking to immerse themselves in the wildlife and landscapes of Alaska, they have a choice of three Celebrity ships – Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Equinox which will sail Alaska for the first time with seven-night journeys between Vancouver and Seward.

In Japan, Celebrity Solstice will return for a full season from April to October 2028 where guests will be able to experience the energy of Tokyo, overnight in Kyoto and join in the local festivities such as the Golden Week and Gion Matsuri.

Celebrity Millennium will offer spring and autumn sailings to take in the Cherry Blossom and Hibiscus season as well as 17 journeys to explore Okinawa.

The two ships will then head to Southeast Asia visiting Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia with Celebrity Millennium offering an overnight stay in Hong Kong to celebrate New Year’s Eve as they ring in 2029.

For bucket-list destinations in South America and Antarctica, Celebrity Equinox will offer a range of 12 to 16-night itineraries to explore the Chilean Fjords, Patagonia and the wilds of Antarctica.

Celebrity Summit will offer 12-night sailings from Boston to explore the autumn colours of Canada and New England in September and October of 2028.
