When Silversea’s Silver Whisper sets sail from Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2012, a world of discovery awaits its passengers. The 115-day World Cruise, visiting 45 ports in 27 countries will feature a gamut of intellectually stimulating enrichment programs, including talks by bestselling author Bill Bryson.
With boundless curiosity and comedic flair, Bryson has won the hearts and minds of readers the world over. His numerous non-fiction classics include the science book A Short History of Nearly Everything, winner of the Aventis Prize. Bryson will host the voyage from Singapore to Shanghai (March 3 – 14).
