Jamie Oliver shares his top tips on how to get kids to eat more adventurously on cruise ships.

Growing up, Jamie remembers going on cruises and being influenced by his parents to try new types of food.

“I remember trying my first prawn cocktail when I was nine years old, and I was like oh what is it? Oh my god it tastes so good. I always saw trying new things as a bit of competition, and see if I could outdo my sister or out gross my dad.”

Jamie suggests:

1. Make food fun on holidays, and enjoy it.
2. Order extra dishes to share. It is a good way of getting the kids to try new things.
3. Getting the kids involved with making the food gets them interested in the process of it.
4. Serve the food in new and exciting ways.
