Australian cruisers will have a third Royal Caribbean brand to sail on when Azamara Club Cruises sends their first ship down under in 2015.

She is the third and final Royal Caribbean family of brands to sail to Australia, following sister cruise lines Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises.

Azamara Quest will be the line’s first ship to visit Australia as part of her 14-night holiday and New Year’s voyage from 22 December 2015 until 5 January 2016.

The cruise will sail from Bali to Australia, making port calls at Thursday Island, Darwin, Cooktown, Port Douglas and Cairns.

According to Royal Caribbean Line Cruises Limited regional vice president Gavin Smith, Australia is the third biggest nationality onboard Azamara Club Cruises, despite never having sailed to the region.

He said: “It has long been our dream to bring an Azamara ship to Australian waters and our whole team is very excited to welcome Azamara Quest in 2015.”

Further itineraries in early 2016 will be released at a later date.
