APT adds New Columbia and Snake River itineraries
NewsAPT has added two extra New Columbia and Snake River itineraries to its USA program next year, to meet demand for voyages in the west.
Revealed in its USA 2015 brochure, both itineraries combine land journeys with river cruises aboard a 62-stateroom paddlewheeler, Queen of the West.
The 20-day Columbia and Snake River Cruise with West Coast USA starts in Los Angeles with a land tour to Portland before sailing from Portland to Clarkson.
The seven-night cruise will include visits to Mount St Helens, Multnomah Falls and Washington State.
Prices start from $12,995 per person twin share.
The 18-day Columbia and Snake River Cruise with Western Wilderness starts with a seven-night river cruise from Portland to Clarkston before guests take a land journey to Las Vegas via Yellowstone National Park, Salt Lake City and Bryce Canyon.
Prices start from $11,495 per person twin share.
The new brochure also includes two new land itineraries – the 18-day Frontier Land Discovery from Los Angeles to San Diego and a 15-day West Coast USA tour from Los Angeles to Seattle.
Meanwhile, the Mississippi River Cruising itineraries include new and exclusive experiences such as the chance to join a traditional Dixieland Jazz marching band through the streets of New Orleans.
