Named by godmother and British television presenter, Miranda Krestovnikoff, the ceremony was attended by the Portsmouth Lord Mayor, dignitaries and guests onboard the newly refurbished ship.
Originally built in 1990 and christened Crown Monarch, mv Voyager offers 270 cabins, of which 87 percent are outside and 30 feature balconies, open seating dining in two restaurants and a specialty restaurant ‘The Explorer Club’.
The 540-passenger vessel is currently sailing on a 147-day Grand Voyage through the Caribbean and South America and will return to her homeport of Portsmouth in early 2013 to sail on Central and South American itineraries before heading to the Amazon.
