MSC Cruises announces United Arab Emirates 2011-2012 itineraries.
The United Arab Emirates is becoming an increasingly popular cruise destination and MSC Cruises will base its luxurious, 59,000-ton MSC Lirica in Abu Dhabi and Dubai from October 2011. MSC Lirica will set off from Genoa, Italy on October 14, 2011 and the 17-day cruise to the UAE will call in to Naples, Italy, Port Said, Egypt, then travel through the Suez Canal to Aqaba in Jordan, Salalah and Muscat in Oman, and finally to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The ship will then do a series of eight-day sailings around the Gulf – ports of call will include Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman, Al Fujairah in the UAE, the island kingdom of Bahrain and two nights in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. With departures every Friday embarking in Dubai from October 28, 2011 until March 9, 2012 and every Sunday embarking in Abu Dhabi from October 30, 2011 until March 4, 2012, this new cruise destination brings the Middle East to your door.
