MS Europa has sailed out of drydock in Hamburg after undergoing a comprehensive renovation.
The redesign required 25-tonnes of paint, 5,200 square meters of new carpeting later and 650 specialists.
Her 152 Veranda Suites on decks 5, 6, 7 and 9 were given a new colour scheme of predominantly sandy and natural colours mixed with berry tones. Furniture includes modern chairs.
The four SPA Suites on Deck 7 were renovated with bright wall closets and new seating furniture.
The heart of the ship, the atrium has also received a makeover, with new carpet islands and lounge furniture. And the pool area on Deck 8 and 9 have received new tiles, maritime colours and floating lights to generate a glowing atmosphere in the evenings.
MS Europa will embark on her first journey post-renovation today, on a sailing from France to Spain via Brest, Nantes and Bilbao.
