Seabourn is the latest cruise line to bring an award-winning celebrity chef onboard, announcing a partnership with Thomas Keller. Keller is the American chef and restaurateur behind the Michelin-starred The French Laundry, Per Se and Bouchon, and currently operates 12 restaurants across the US. He is the first and only American to hold multiple three-star Michelin ratings and was awarded a total of seven stars in the 2013 guide.

Keller will develop a range of dishes for restaurants across the Seabourn Sojourn, Odyssey and Quest beginning later this year. Dishes will be prepared using high quality ingredients and to Keller’s precise specifications. In early 2016 he will launch a new signature restaurant on Seabourn Quest, which will be rolled out across the fleet. Keller will also consult on various aspects of the line’s culinary operations.

Seabourn President Richard Meadows said “his culinary talent and sophisticated cuisine are beyond compare and the perfect match for our guests. We have no doubt our guests will be as excited as we are to taste and enjoy Chef Keller’s dishes on our ships.”

Keller said there was an inherent alignment of philosophies which made the collaboration with Seabourn an exciting new opportunity for his restaurant group. “We look forward to sharing our best practices and repertoire with Seabourn’s outstanding culinary team.”
