Fancy 10 nights on Rhapsody of the Seas in the South Pacific for just $48 a night next month? Or ten nights to New Caledonia and Vanuatu for $67 a night on board the Carnival Spirit?
Or how about 14 days with premium line Holland America for just $79 a day?
Capacity and the season means cruise passengers can snap up some of the best bargains ever in the next two months – and one of Australia’s leading last minute cruise brands is suggesting the best is yet to come.
“I know I shouldn’t say this but if you can hold on, you’ll get some great deals,” says Travelrite director Simon Walliss. The company runs cruiseoffers.com.au, where we found some of these special deals.
Mr Walliss added that the deals had been coming through all year, though there were obviously more during the wave season.
“It’s about capacity and the fact that cruise companies are competing. I think next year will probably seen even more of the same.”
Our search was sparked by Royal Caribbean’s special offer of $82 a night, which finished today.
But don’t fret – they are offering what they describe as their Biggest Ever Sale offer – buy one ticket and a guest sails for 50% off, plus up to US$400 onboard credit.
P&O are offering up to 30% off with onboard credit and half price deposits.
And Holland America’s deal on the Oosterdam from January 16 has an interior stateroom at just 1,099 per person on their Pacific Treasures journey.
