Carnival Splendor has become the first Carnival ship to serve a ‘Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast’ as part of the Seuss at Sea program.
Designed to entertain younger cruisers, festivities include meet and greet opportunities with popular Dr. Seuss characters Cat in the Hat, Thing One and Thing Two as well as Sam.
The main dining hall will introduce playful foods straight from Dr. Seuss’ imagination like moose juice and goose juice, colourful fruit and pancake stacks and funky French toast.
The ship has also received a selection of Dr. Seuss books, toys and themed activities and will feature special movie screenings of ‘The Cat in the Hat’ and ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ in the outdoor Dive-In-Movies screen.
The program is being rolled-out on the line’s 24-ships over the next two years. The next in line to receive the Dr. Seuss makeover is Carnival Freedom later this year.
