They are calling it the greatest rock show on the water, and Moody Blues front man Justin Hayward will be the host of the 2020 seven-night On The Blue cruise.
Hayward will perform sets covering material from his solo career along with favourites by The Moody Blues, where he’ll be joined by a variety of special guests.
Other artists confirmed are:
The Martin Barre Band, Pat Travers, Art Garfunkel, The Zombies, Alan Parsons, Dave Mason, Glenn Hughes, Ronnie Spector And The Ronettes, The Orchestra featuring former members of ELO, Colin Blunstone, Al Stewart, Wishbone Ash and David Pack’s Legends Live.
There will also be Poco, Orleans, Firefall, The Babys, Pat Travers, Focus, Young Dubliners, Randy Hansen and the music of Jimi Hendrix, Tom Toomy, Mike Dawes, Julie Ragins’ Pear Duo, Mellow Yellow, Marbin and Fernando Perdomo and the Out To Sea Band.
Aside from the music, the cruise will feature a range of activities including photo opportunities, a Mellow Yellow Dance Party, themed-nights, Painting With Rock Stars and private dinners with the bands.
The show takes place on the Norwegian Pearl on April 1 for seven nights – taking in three ports: St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and the Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, before returning back to Florida on April 8.
