There’s a chill coming to Disney entertainment, as the cruise line brings characters from the animated film ‘Frozen’ on board its ships.
Princess Anna and Queen Elsa will appear on select seven-night and longer sailings on Disney Magic, Disney Wonder and Disney Fantasy.
Children can meet and chat to the two Royals as well as snap pics at various times throughout the cruises.
The two Frozen characters join a number of other Disney characters that make the rounds on the line’s ships. They include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip & Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Max, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Lilo, Stitch, Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Princess Aurora, Princess Tiana, Ariel, Captain Jack Sparrow, Dopey and Jake.
Meanwhile, blogger Doctor Disney this week posted a piece on the potential arrival of two new Disney ships.
The writer said he was on a Disney cruise when cast members said: “I’m just going to start a rumour… a-hem… right now and say that Disney Cruise Line is bringing two more ships. It’s easy to tell by looking at this portrait. The four ship icons are all represented and then there is Pluto and Goofy.”
The cast member was referring to four of the six characters featured in a lobby statue. The icons from the four Disney ships. They are Disney Dream – Admiral Donald; Disney Fantasy – Flapper Minni; Disney Wonder – Ariel; and Disney Magic – Helmsman Mickey.
Pluto and Goofy are featured in the statue, but they do not represent any current ships.
However, a Disney Cruise Line spokesperson told Cruise Passenger that there has been no talk about a new ship, let alone two.
“We never know what the future holds but for now, it’s fluff,” she said.
