Aurora Expeditions is hosting a free educational evening at its Sydney offices this Wednesday, February 16, when an Arctic geologist and Russian culture and history expert will share their knowledge of the region.
Dr Paul Willis, who is an Aurora expedition leader, will give an insightful and personal account of his experiences in the Arctic with special reference to the line’s geology voyage – ‘Jewels of the Arctic’, which tours Spitsbergen, Greenland and Iceland.
Guests will also hear from Russian-born Dr Larissa Koroleva, who has completed a PhD in Russian Studies and is a regular lecturer on Russian culture and history.
The Russian Arctic & High Arctic event will take place from 6-8pm on Wednesday February 16, at Aurora Expeditions office (Suite 201, Level 2, 88 George Street, The Rocks, Sydney).
