Emerald Sky enters the Waterways

Evergreen Tours’ sister company, Emerald Waterways has taken delivery of the first of four new ‘Star Ships’, with Emerald Sky arriving this week.

The new river vessel arrived in Lobith, Northern Holland, ahead of her christening on 9 April, where 60s icon, Twiggy, will be Godmother.

A second ‘Star Ship’, Emerald Star, is scheduled for delivery at the end of April, while Emerald Sun and Emerald Dawn are scheduled for delivery in early 2015.

According to Evergreen Tours, each ship features a seven metre high atrium, a 24 square metre swimming pool with a retractable sunroof, a cinema, fitness centre and massage room.
