Disney Wonder sailed into the Port of Seattle for the first time on Monday ahead of embarking on 14 seven-night Alaskan cruises over the northern hemisphere summer.
A plaque exchange ceremony took place with Captain Thord Haugen and shipboard officers welcoming local port officials and community leaders onboard for the maritime tradition.
“The Pacific Northwest is a favourite destination for our guests and we are excited to be here,” Disney Cruise Line Captain Thord Haugen said.
“Our guests can’t wait to experience the breathtaking beauty this region is known for, from spectacular glaciers to snow-capped mountains to a wide variety of wildlife.”
