Princess Cruises has released three new roundtrip voyages on Diamond Princess from Sydney next summer as part of a re-jig of its itineraries.
Among the cruises is the ship’s first 14-night trip to New Zealand which departs on December 19 and costs from $2779 per person twin share. An eight-night voyage to Tasmania is also available in addition to a five-night roundtrip to Melbourne.
The two shorter cruises replace two 12/13-night cruises between Sydney and Auckland.
Princess Cruises executive vice president sales, marketing and customer service Jan Swartz said the additional sailings are expected to be popular amongst holidaymakers.
She said: “Diamond Princess is a spectacular ship which already has a strong following among Australian passengers, so we’re very pleased to be able to introduce more roundtrip options for the local market.”
The announcement follows Princess Cruises’ decision to add new departures from Brisbane in 2014.
