Cunard has announced its 2018 World Voyages program which includes calls to Kangaroo Island and New Zealand.
She will spend more than a month in local waters including a 13 night circumnavigation of New Zealand as well as a four night cruise to South Australia’s Kangaroo Island.
The line said that there was an overwhelming demand for shorter cruises on the Queen Mary 2 and Aussies were keen to sail from local ports.
This will be the second time Queen Mary 2 will visit Busselton in Western Australia and Kangaroo Island. She will also make an encore visit to Newcastle on March 1, 2018.
Her circumnavigation cruise of New Zealand will include maiden calls to Dunedin on the South Island and Tauranga on the North island as part of a 13 night round trip cruise from Sydney.
She will cruise through the Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound in Fiordland National Park before she heads to Dunedine, Akaroa, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Bay of Islands.
