The first-ever living wall at sea has been constructed aboard the 922-passenger Crystal Symphony as she sailed from Portland to Dover.
Standing at 2.4 metres high and 11.5 metres long, the living wall features an array of indoor plants to depict a map of the world and will be maintained by the ship’s onboard team of florists.
“In keeping with our ongoing focus on design, we wanted to create a focal point that was both highly contemporary and visually stunning,” Crystal vice president Alexandra Don said.
