Ship lovers will be in vessel heaven this weekend, when Sydney Harbour hosts this year’s Navy International Fleet Review (IFR).
Warships and/or tall ships from over 50 nations will participate in the IFR from 3-11 October.
The Review will commemorate the centenary of the first entry of the Royal Australian Navy’s Fleet into Sydney.
Amongst the sea of navy ships, visitors will also be able to spot a few cruise ships.
Rhapsody of the Seas will be the first to sail in on 5 October. Her arrival will mark the official launch of the 2013/14 summer cruise season.
Carnival Spirit and Sea Princess will cruise in on 7 October followed by the Pacific Pearl on 9 October.
Pacific Jewel will arrive on 10 October, while the Dawn Princess and Radiance of the Seas will dock and leave with the Navy fleet on 11 October.
