People looking for their next cruise holiday can now book on Jetstar’s website.
Powered by Cruise Guru, Jetstar’s site now includes international and national cruise deals.
The partnership between the sites now finds the cheapest deals – for example, cruisers looking to board from Sydney can pay from $782 for a seven-night cruise onboard P&O’s Pacific Jewel and Melbourne from $447.
Announced today on the Pacific Jewel, Joint Managing Director of Cruise Guru Justin Montgomery said, “This partnership is a game-changer for Australian families and travellers looking to enhance their holiday experience with a truly unforgettable cruise.”
He also told Cruise Passenger that the two companies are planning cruise and fly deals, which will be ready to be launched by next year.
Head of Product at Jetstar Carly Povey said, “We’ve watched the increasing trend of cruising and wanted to be able to make this unique travel experience accessible to our customers. We have great flexibility with the cruises at Jetstar.com from short trips within Australia, to longer cruises around Southeast Asia to suit a range of budgets.
“Customers have come to trust they will get great value at Jetstar.com and this new cruising product is another holiday option we offer as a travel retailer to give people the opportunity to try something new.”
Mr Montgomery said the deals started this morning and by 11am, they already had around 100 people book a cruise holiday on Jetstar’s website.
Vote in this year’s special Readers’ Choice Awards
No doubt 2020 will go down in cruise history as the year of the pandemic – a once in a generation event. And this year’s Cruise Passenger Readers’ Choice Awards will reflect it.
