Bill Cosby booked on NCL ship to entertain passengers during repairs.
To sweeten the fact passengers had to miss a port call because of unforeseen ship repairs, Bill Cosby will be performing two 70-minute comedy shows free for guests on Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Norwegian Pearl.
The complimentary performances by one of America’s comedy greats are among a number of compensatory gestures on offer when Norwegian Pearl overnights in Seattle on July 24 for repairs to its propeller. The ship will be on a seven-day ‘Alaska Glacier Bay’ cruise and the Seattle stop will result in the removal of Juneau from the scheduled itinerary.
“We understand that missing Juneau will cause disappointment for some of our guests, so we wanted to do something very special to make the cruise memorable,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line’s chief executive officer.
Guests will also receive a $150 onboard credit per stateroom and a future cruise credit of 10 per cent of the cruise fare paid per guest.
Would you be happy with this compensation?
