Cruisers will be able to have a ‘Celebrity Conversation’ with Broadway star, Patti LuPone when she boards the Seabourn Sojourn as a guest entertainer in 2014.
The ship’s 116-day world cruise will feature a range of entertainers and guest lecturers, including the Tony Award winner LuPone; former CIA operative, Tony Mendez; and American yachtsman, Dennis Conner.
Photographer and travel writer, David Smith will host ‘Art Conversations’; and Scotland’s only two-Michelin star chef, Andrew Fairlie will host ‘Culinary Conversations’.
Seabourn Conversations’ guests share their stories and expertise with cruisers. They also dine, explore destinations and have casual chats with the holidaymakers during the voyage.
“Our guest speakers are as intriguing and worldly as the destinations we will visit during the world cruise,” Seabourn senior vice president, marketing and sales John Delaney said.
“Not only will they entertain and delight our guests with their talent, expertise and knowledge, they will also be a part of the daily social scene, enhancing our guests’ experience.”
Seabourn Sojourn’s 116-day world cruise commences in Los Angeles on 4 January. It will visit 53 ports in 20 countries before ending on 1 May 2014 in Venice, Italy.
