Celebrity Cruises has announced it will introduce a new mobile casino gambling solution, allowing guests to gamble anywhere on the ship.

Available in the coming months on Celebrity’s Solstice Class ships, the device will allow passengers to play the full suite of Cantor Gaming on their personal Apple of Android smartphones and tablets.

It’s accessed by downloading the application, creating a “virtual wallet” at the ship’s casino desk to activate and fund the account and then using the ship’s Wi-Fi network to play a selection of games, including slots, table games and video poker.

Celebrity Cruises senior vice president of operations Greg Purdy said Cantor Gaming will provide guests with “unmatched experience”.

He said: “[It] will be an excellent addition to the edgy entertainment we offer onboard.”

Meanwhile, Celebrity has also unveiled a broader variety of Caribbean vacation for 2014 with three new itineraries.

New sailings feature upscale destinations in the Caribbean, including St. Barts, St. Croix, St. Maarten and San Juan.
